"The 308 CC is a four-seater with an exclusive interior. It is relaxed and easy to drive."
The Peugeot 308 CC is the French entry into the compact cabrio class of the brand, and it has an electrically operated folding metal hardtop. A need for somewhere to store the folded roof makes the styling of the car with the roof a bit cumbersome, but it looks downward smart with the roof. Inside There are plenty of standard equipment and enough room for four adults in the elegant cabin, although space is limited in the rear seats. Moreover, adds the complex roof weight, which means that the 308 CC does not handle not quite as good as the standard hatchback model, and the motors must be processed harder to make progress.

the most economical engine in the line-up is the 112bhp 1.6-liter e-HDi diesel that returns 60mpg and emits 116 g / km CO2, which. to an annual motor vehicle tax of £ 30 Because of the heavy weight of the CC, the 1.6-liter petrol engines struggle, returning less than 40mpg and CO2 emissions of 167g / km.

motors, drive & Performance
- [1945073inder308CC] a comfortable cruiser, the non may be pressed
Even the most powerful engine (a 1.6 liter, 0bhp petrol) because of the additional weight of the folding roof overcoming feels. The emphasis is firmly on cruising instead driving thrills - the steering slightly, while the gearlever feels loose and limp when changing gears. In curves quite well the CC-handles, but it is not a car you'll drive for pleasure. The brakes offer impressive braking force when. The new 112bhp diesel engine is to go, as it is smooth and quiet, but also very cheap to run.

Interior & Comfort

The car shakes and shakes when the roof is down
the 308 CC has a more rigid body than the hatchback, but it still shakes and rattles when the roof after is below. Put the roof, and the CC is as quiet as the 308 sedan. In general, the soft suspension makes it an excellent long-distance cruiser, even though they may be uncertain about rough asphalt.

practicality & trunk
-
boots is spacious, with a roof and there is space for four
Because of its oversized rear end - necessary to save the two-piece roof - the CC offers a spacious 465-liter boot with the roof. But when it is lowered, falling capacity to a small but still useable 266 liters, during loading and unloading through the small gap under the roof mechanism is tricky. Optional One-touch electric front seats slide forward with easy access to the rear seats allow, but even though the 308 CC is a four-seater, the narrow rear seats are only really suitable for short trips. The electric roof takes 20 seconds to go down.

reliability and safety
-
Admirable safety standards, reliability unproven
offers 308 CC real peace, when it comes to security. It was NCAP awarded a five-star rating from crash test body Euro. All models are equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX child seat fastenings, electronic stability control and pop-up roll bars which activate in case of impact. Peugeot reliability record is not particularly strong, but the build quality of the CC appears to be top notch.
