"The Volvo V60 is an elegant combination, which are traditionally associated with Volvo stands in an effort, some of the practicality sacrifices with rivals from BMW to compete and Audi. "

the Volvo V60 is a slim and handsome midsize station wagon, which goes up against other premium models like the BMW 3 Series Touring, Mercedes C-class and Audi A4 Avant. With rivals reached as this, it is no wonder that the Volvo may not quite match the competition. If you are willing to sacrifice a degree of functionality and driver involvement, however, the V60 is a worthy contender, thanks to its sleek looks, comfortable cruising ability and welcoming interior.
Like other premium estate, the V60 lose some capacity on behalf of looks good, but it is more by its uninvolving driving experience for Disabled - an area that reward positive 3 Series Touring in the cars like the BMW. While some buyers are likely Volvo discreet brand image is to be drawn, is more to the appeal of Audi, BMW and Mercedes are attracted, and this is probably reflected in the V60 of the second-hand values.
Despite these reservations, the clean and crisp the V60 Scandinavian styling makes it from the mass of Germanic Rental stand while building its excellent quality and comfortable, sophisticated interior you my have to make any sacrifices in these areas.

Volvo V60 is a selection offered by two petrol and three diesel engines (D2, D3 and D4), and one ultra-low emissions (but very expensive) D6 plug-in hybrid. The T3 petrol engine has 150bhp and returns 48.7mpg, while 135g / km of CO2 for an annual road tax bill of £ 130 to emit. If you do not cover a lot of miles, it is worth considering, but diesel V60s is becoming increasingly popular. The other petrol engine powers seriously quick - but rarely and uneconomical - 362bhp, four-wheel drive V60 Polestar
The most efficient diesel engine is the D2, which returns an impressive 76.3mpg and is exempt from the street. Taxes thanks to its low emissions. There is a perfectly good engine, but its focus is efficiency rather than power, and you can use the 118bhp offers, it is not enough if you cover a lot of highway miles.
The D3 and D4 diesel engines have identical fuel consumption of 70.6mpg and they are both responsible for a road-tax liability of just £ 20 per year, thanks to its low emissions. If you like a little more (less than £ 1,000), then the additional power of the D4 engine makes paying on the D3 versus the V60 a fast car, with a 0-62mph time of 7.7 seconds.
(in this class thanks in part to some of the best seats fitted to any car) While the V60 on the highway comfortable and quiet, it's not really so pleasant to drive on winding roads, heavy steering down to be left too much body lean and overly tight suspension. It always feels safe and sound and handles well on the road, but competitors are much more fun to drive
The interior of the V60 is a tantalizing prospect. It is extremely well done, with a clean, uncluttered design and Volvo trademark 'floating' center console - so called because it is very thin and has a storage area behind it. Further back in the V60, the news is not very good: headroom rear affected by the sloping roofline of the vehicle, while the boat is far less than would be expected in the combi - especially one that carries Volvo lettering. Rear seats, which is the V60 is not very practical, albeit completely flat, meaning the lack of load lip at the mouth of the boot can be folded.
The V60 in numerous available trim levels and is well equipped in all of them: also, the entry-level Business Edition Airconditioning, Navi, and a seven-inch display. Further up the range, there is the comfort-oriented SE model and the sporty V60 R-Design and Lux and Nav variants, bringing each one more creature comforts and satellite navigation. There is also a V60 Cross Country version, the robust design and a (limited) off-road capability has. The V60 Polestar is a variety of sporting add-ons, including larger alloy wheels, a body kit, a special blue paint and much Polestar badge.
In terms of reliability, both Volvo V60 of an average have record. The V60 was a decent and not impressive 86th out of 0 cars in our 2015 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey, while Volvo as a whole similarly clad, 17 come from 32 manufacturers.
One area where the V60 does excel, however, is the security: in its Euro NCAP crash tests, it's the full five stars has, including an impressive 94% for adult occupant protection and an almost unheard of 100% score for security support. While Volvo may have shifted its focus away from outright practicality, it is reassuring come to know, has an excellent reputation for safety.
