"It is difficult to find fault with the Mazda CX. 5 It drives superbly, not cost the earth to buy and is pretty cheap to run -. As well as practical and to be handsome "

If you are after a family car, the much Boxing ticks, the Mazda CX-5 could and be the car for you. It is practical, well-equipped, good to drive, a good price-performance ratio to run inexpensive and good-looking. Granted, it does not have the off-road capabilities of a Land Rover Discovery Sport or a Jeep Cherokee, but many would argue that it need it does not really matter.
This is especially true when you consider the fact that the Mazda is just as good - if not better - than its rivals on the road. It is surprisingly nimble given its size and mass, while the steering is direct, accurate and beautiful weighted. Despite the entertaining driving experience, nice to the CX-5 rides, absorb the worst lumps and bumps without ever feeling too soft.
Even with the CX-5 rival the likes of the Skoda Yeti, Ford Kuga and Volkswagen Tiguan and the Nissan X-Trail and Nissan Qashqai. The CX-5 also has buyers from traditional family hatchbacks away to lure like the Volkswagen Golf, Opel Astra, Ford Focus and Skoda Octavia.

You get a choice of three engines the CX-5 - make a 163bhp 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a 2.2-liter diesel either 148 or 173bhp. We expect that most buyers go for the less powerful 2.2-liter diesel, as it offers the best combination of performance, fuel economy and refinement.
Coupled with two-wheel drive and manual transmission (the combination we recommend d), it will do in 9.2 seconds 0-62mph, but still delivers around 61mpg. The CO2 emissions at 119 g / km, rated, meaning an annual road tax bill of £ 30, while company car driver is not deterred by a 23% benefit-in-kind (BiK) company car tax. Rate, either
There are three orders to choose from - SE-L Nav, SE-L Nav Lux and Sport Nav - all that you unsurprised be heard, come with GPS as standard. All also get alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, tinted glass, DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity. You also get a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control and dual-zone climate control
, it is not have the striking interior design - especially the clean design considering touched the outside - the CX-5 functional and easy to use internally, but also together feel pretty solid. The quality of materials is also quite high. Granted, it is not quite on the same level as an Audi Q5, but it's still impressive, especially the pretty reasonable price considering Mazda.
If you are after a family car, then you need to really be practical and even though the CX-5 is pretty good in this respect, it is not perfect. A black marking is the lack of a seven-seat option. Although there has not been an under his rival, it would be nice to have the ability to carry a few extra passengers if needed
There are 503 liters of space in the trunk -., The direction of the upper end is for the class - and this extends to 1,620 if you fold the rear seats down. The boot is a good square shape, with little penetration of the wheel arches, while a low sill makes heavy items in and get out of a breeze, too. One criticism is that the rear seats do not fold completely flat on the floor.

As is the norm these days has become, causing the Mazda CX-5 should be no safety concerns. The expected five-star Euro NCAP rating is present and correct, since a number of safety kit is. There is the legally prescribed equipment such as a plurality of air bags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat points and anti-lock braking system, while you also get emergency city braking that can automatically brake the car from low speeds when a threatening collision is detected.
Neither reliability should be a cause for concern. Mazda has a pretty good reputation in this regard, however, backed by the brand performance in our 2016 Driver Power owner satisfaction survey. There was a total of 32 manufacturers ninth, while the CX-5 49th from 150 cars pre-came with a decent reliability score.
