"The Peugeot 08 SUV is a practical rugged looking crossover with a classy interior and small car-like operating costs."

The Peugeot 08 Crossover is a compact SUV that combines low operating costs with increased driving position and large Practicability. It goes against cars like the Nissan Juke, Citroën C4 Cactus and Ford EcoSport, but Peugeot has deliberately designed the 08 more like a high-riding estate look like an SUV. The Peugeot also has a more elegant and luxurious feeling interior than its competitors.
continued to make this issue of things differently, Peugeot does not provide the 08 with all-wheel drive, but there is the possibility of establishing a "Grip Control" called. This detects and prevents the front wheels from losing grip on smooth surfaces, including snow, sand and mud. While it is not quite as effective as a full four-wheel-drive setup is to use the most crossover customers their cars fall on roads and Grip Control should be enough "go anywhere" provide capacity for the majority of drivers.

Peugeot offers the 08 with a 1.2-liter petrol engine or a 1.6-liter diesel, both available with three outputs of different power. They are all efficient, still more when equipped with Peugeot optional "S & S" start-stop system. The 08 comes with either a five- or six-speed manual transmission, although the entry-level 1.2-liter petrol PureTech 82 with the ETG brand automatic is also available.
As expected, the diesel offer greater fuel economy - even though they are about £ 1,500 more expensive to buy than a gasoline model similarly equipped. The 74, 98 and 116bhp 1.6-liter diesels BlueHDi all returns 76.3mpg and road tax free thanks to its low CO2 emissions. The 13.8-second 0-62mph time of 74bhp model can you want a little more oomph when it overtakes on the highway, though, so the 98bhp diesel is a little easier to live with it blank. It is not a fast, albeit with a 0-62mph time of 12.5 seconds.
If you can stretch, we recommend the 116bhp diesel. The extra power means it'll go from 0-62mph in a brisk 9.6 seconds, while the excellent economic figures and road tax exemption, like the other diesels.

If you do not meet that use many miles or especially your car for short trips, a gasoline engine should fit better, and in 08 also served in this area. All its 1.2-liter petrol engines are efficient and smooth, but we recommend the 107bhp 1.2-liter PureTech 110 S & S model. This combines strong 60.1mpg fuel consumption with usable power from 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds to go, but only costs £ 20 per year in road tax.
On the road that feels 08 safe and secure, with predictable handling - even if it is not the last word in driver involvement and some of the small steering wheel was in the corners a strange decision on Peugeot Part Nevertheless, the can feel soft suspension, lean body is well controlled, and that's all to drive a comfortable car in particular.
Despite, has plenty of 08 is based with plenty of headroom for five adults, in on the 208 hatchback. The boot is a useful, if not remarkable size, although its low floor means loading heavy items simple.
There are four trim levels. The entry 08 Access is quite well equipped, comes with air conditioning, driver's seat height adjustment and cruise control while active trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels and a seven-inch infotainment system, complete with Apple carplay, Bluetooth phone connectivity and a DAB radio.

We recommend the mid-range Allure model, though. These include Grip Control (albeit not with the 1.2-liter 82-Motor PureTech), 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, dual-zone air conditioning and dark tinted rear windows that combine in 08 very luxurious to feel and alloy 17-inch wheels, navigation, a rearview camera and various interior upgrades, including aluminum pedals, some trim black gloss and red stitching around the seats well equipped.
The top-spec GT Line trim contains. With around £ 2,500 more than trim Allure, though, GT Line is expensive.
08 Owner are generally a happy lot, witnessed anything by 33. place went to the car from 0 cars in our 2015 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey. Peugeot 10th place of 32 manufacturers also suggest building quality and reliability have improved significantly in recent years. Security is similarly reassuring if it was crash tested by Euro NCAP, the Peugeot 08 achieves the full five stars.
