"The Jeep Renegade is from and excellent off-road performance with its chunky appearance of the mass."

the Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV that competes in a crowded sector of the market. The Renegade, like the Renault Captur, Suzuki Vitara, Nissan Juke and Mazda CX-3 provides low operating costs, but with the high driving position that look so many buyers today. This means that you get better visibility, easier access (especially useful for families with small children) and a feeling of being on the road, without the penalty associated to the pump with SUVs traditionally pay.
With stiff competition as this circumstance that looks edgy intentionally Renegade mean - while not for everyone - that it is more pronounced than many other cars on the road. If this looks appeal to you, is the Renegade with a wide range of engines available with optional all-wheel drive and comes in a variety of orders. It may not be the last word in driver involvement, but the Renegade is pretty decent on the road. If you select a four-wheel-drive model, now it is better able off-road than most of its competitors, and some SUVs from the class above, also.

Jeep offers six engines with the Renegade , three petrol and three diesels. The cheapest of them is the 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which returns 47.1mpg and costs £ 145 per year in road tax. While these figures are reasonable, this engine is a little slow, taking with 0-62mph 11.8 seconds. If you want a gasoline engine, you are better off to go for the more modern turbocharged 1.4-liter. This is with 138 or 168bhp, with the more powerful model to be four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission comes only, it is quite an expensive option. The 138bhp petrol engine, therefore makes more sense, and if you choose this, shrinks the 0-62mph time to 10.9 seconds, while economy remains reasonable at 47.1mpg and road tax costs £ 130 per year.
In terms of diesel, we recommend the 118bhp 1.6-liter than any other engine in the range. His 64.2mpg economy means it is the most efficient engine available, and it also emits the least CO2, so road tax is only £ 30 per year. In addition to more efficient than the 1.4-liter petrol engine is the 1.6-liter diesel is also faster (0-62mph takes 10.2 seconds) and about cheaper £ 1,500. The other two diesels are 2.0-liter engines, with either 138bhp or 168bhp. Both come with all-wheel drive as standard, which means that they are more expensive to buy initially and more expensive to run in the long run - they return 55.4mpg and 47.9mpg are. Despite being diesel, they also have relatively high CO2 emissions, so road tax either £ 130 or £ 185
On the road of Renegade is more convincing than one might expect. This looks edgy mean, it's a little more wind noise on the highway, as we would like, but there are a lot of grip and relatively little body lean in corners. Buyers who are used to a hatchback will find the Renegade driving experience familiar, although do be aware that, despite its relatively small size, parking can be difficult due to slightly limited rearward visibility.

Inside, the Renegade a modern dashboard, good quality plastic with (though areas from the direct sight not maintain quite the same standard) and all switches operate with sufficient strength. We found the front head restraints dug into our shoulders, even if they check in their highest position, so you are not affected. While passenger get a lot of space, those who find closely in the rear footwell - although this is true of many cars in this class, and the Nissan Juke has not stopped a runaway success in sales is
Jeep. the Renegade in a variety of systems including some special editions offers (there was even a link to the latest Batman movie), but the main trim levels are Sport, Longitude, Limited, and top model Trailhawk. All vehicles are equipped with all-round electric windows, alloy wheels, air conditioning and a touchscreen infotainment system, complete with DAB radio. Moving up to length adds larger alloy wheels, an improved stereo, roof rails, cruise control, navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity and a leather steering wheel, while limited heated leather seats brings an updated seven-inch infotainment system, larger alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and a departure warning track.
The Trailhawk model something of a niche set is intended for those who are serious about off-roading. It contains special mud and snow tires, hard underbody protection (damage to avoid key components such as the fuel tank through rough terrain) and luxuries such as leather seats. Note that the Trailhawk is only with top-spec 168bhp diesel engine with almost £ 30,000 is probably a relatively rare sight on the streets.
The property to be proposed, while the Renegade didn 't function, fared Jeep better than in recent years in our 2016 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey, with a reasonable 11th place of 32 carmakers - although his 31st place can be found for its reliability pause. Security is not a problem, thanks to a full NCAP five stars from Euro.

The Jeep Renegade is cheap to run for such a position off-roader, but more roads biased rivals are more economical

The Jeep Renegade is excellent in the area, but feels vague it. If you want an accomplished tow car, go for the 2.0-liter diesel
