"Cheap, cheerful and tough, the Suzuki Jimny is one of the smallest 4x4 vehicles in the UK."
The Suzuki Jimny is now more than 15 years old and it's really getting old, but it's still a cheap and cheerful 4x4, off-road is extremely capable. Its compact dimensions, durability and all-wheel with a special gear with low ratio for them on uneven or slippery surfaces to make specially surprisingly effective off-road designed combined drive.
The Jimny can be small and cheap-feeling cabin could let build his quality to challenge, but it's actually a tough old thing and far more capable of off-road terrain than many SUVs attack to take. What looks, it's pretty much a box on wheels, and the majority of modern compact crossovers (including those available with all-wheel drive, like the Nissan Juke) have much more interesting styling.

There is only one engine available : a 84bhp 1.3-liter petrol, which must be worked pretty hard to get out of it a real power. That is, the Jimny is really no car for frequent travelers or someone who spends a lot of time on the highway.
Although there are many city cars and superminis, the do the job much better and for less money, the Jimny is not bad in the city due to its compact size and small gasoline engine, adjust both the city airports. It would not go very at home in the kinds of places other cars, however, and it makes sense when you need a robust little work vehicle, the other surfaces can process as asphalt.
The Jimny is in production since 1998 and it does show how on-road comfort, engine performance and interior was far behind more modern rivals like the Fiat Panda 4x4, the Nissan Juke and the Vauxhall Mokka. The Suzuki Jimny comes in two main specifications: the entry SZ3 and top-of-the-range SZ4 and there is also an automatic transmission available.
