"The Peugeot 308 is a tempting alternative to other small hatchbacks -. It is stylish, comfortable, practical and has a quality interior"

of Peugeot is a small gasoline engine, and it is against strong competition in the form of the Volkswagen Golf, Vauxhall Astra, Ford Focus and SEAT Leon. Not to mention the Kia Cee'd, Hyundai i30, Honda Civic and new Renault Megane - so it's got to be good in some seriously impressive competitors making
What the 308 has for them go style. , It is a very good-looking car with smart chrome detailing and sharp LED daytime running lights and headlights on higher-spec models.
It's the same story inside with a high-quality dashboard and much equipment. Not everyone likes the slightly unusual driving position of a small, low-set steering wheel and dials placed high up on the dashboard.

Peugeot this layout claiming i- called cockpit, makes the 308 more feel involved, but to drive, in reality, the 308 best described as a comfortable cruiser. It is still quite agile and enjoyable to drive, but it's not quite as much fun as the SEAT Leon or Ford Focus. If you want something sportier, though, you can go for the Peugeot 308 GTi.
You are not stuck for choice in terms of engines, either. Including the 308 GTi, there are 11 to choose from, including some very efficient diesel engines. Our choice is the 1.6-liter diesel BlueHDi 0. Peugeot says it will also do more than 80mpg, and there is free tax.
If you prefer petrol power, the 1.2-liter gasoline engine PureTech 130 is a three-cylinder turbo engine, the return nearly 60mpg and costs just 20 remain £ exempt annually.

As for the engine range, it should a trim level for all. The range starts with access, moving over Active, Allure, GT Line, GT and GTi upward. They are all well equipped, but come with entry-level Access models with DAB radio, air conditioning, Bluetooth phone connectivity and cruise control.
We would opt for mid-spec Active, dual zone gets air conditioning, parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. As you move further up the range, the 308 can be quite expensive, but top-spec models come with very generous equipment of the vehicle.

security is not a problem in the 308, either. Many mean airbags mandatory traction control, antilock brakes and stability control achieved a five-star rating from Euro NCAP.
