"The Audi A5 Sportback is due to be replaced soon, but his salon as practicality and coupé-style good looks appeal still."

the Audi A5 Sportback is, like its big brother, the A7 Sportback, a cross between a coupe and a saloon. That is, you get some of the appealing styling elements of a coupe without sacrificing too much in the way of outright practicality. During the A5 Sportback has slightly reduced as a result of its tapered roofline rear headroom, you get a hatchback boot, an additional level of functionality on the (previous generation) Audi A4 Saloon addition to the based there.
Sitting how it works in a relatively niche class, the A5 Sportback has very few rivals - although the Mercedes CLA-Class and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe are designed along similar lines. In contrast to these two cars, however, the A5 Sportback is feeling its age a bit now, nearly seven years been in the past. It is in no way means a bad car, but during his interior is luxurious, it can not Mercedes CLA match that while newer Audis - as the TT -. Appealing Dashboards have
Audi A5 Sportback provides a known range of gasoline and diesel engines, and its quattro all-wheel drive system on some models. The cheapest engine is the 1.8-liter gasoline that goes in 8.2 seconds from 0-62mph, returns 46.3mpg and costs £ 145 per year in road tax. The other petrol engine is offered, a 227bhp 2.0-liter, which comes standard with all-wheel drive. This is faster if less economical: 0-62mph achieved in just 6.5 seconds, but the fuel consumption of 40.9mpg and an annual road tax bill of £ 185 make it run the most expensive model. Audi also makes the performance-oriented S5 Sportback, a 328bhp petrol engine has 3.0 liters. But at over £ 40,000 and with the fuel consumption of 35.8mpg, it's an expensive choice.

The diesel engines are becoming increasingly popular. The most efficient is the 2.0-liter 134bhp Ultra model, which is an impressive 67.3mpg able costs just £ 20 per year in road tax and is liable for 21% benefit in kind-control, it is the best choice for company-make motorists. The 2.0-liter diesel engine is also available with either 148 or 187bhp, and they both £ 110 per year cost 58.9mpg in the motor vehicle tax and return. The extra power of the 187bhp engine means it does not have to be worked hard, so that it can offer the same economy as the 148bhp engine capable.
In addition to the standalone S5 model, 242bhp 3.0-liter diesel engine with all-wheel drive on top of the A5 Sportback range. While this is expensive, means a 0-62mph time of 5.9 seconds combined with fuel consumption of 46.3mpg, this engine is not without its charm.
On the road, which is the Audi A5 Sportback not as pleasant drive as BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, while its firm suspension, it corners with small slender body means, but a little uncomfortable to be on bad surfaces - something the more of a problem is when the A5 Sportback is equipped with the sport suspension and larger alloy and Navi and DAB radio wheels trim level.
entry-level SE trim technology includes staples like cruise control, air conditioning, heated leather seats and 18-inch alloy wheels. S line trim features stiffer suspension, upgraded leather, sports seats and a sporty body kit, while the top-spec Black Edition Plus larger wheels containing alloy, black exterior and interior styling details and improved Bang & Olufsen stereo. In truth SE technology has all the kit you are likely to need.
The reliability is a bit of a mixed bag. Although the A5 Sportback feels very solid and its interior features high-quality materials, but Audi reputation for reliability has suffered somewhat in recent years. A 21 place (of 32 brands) in our 2016 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey shows that, while the prospect of an Audi driving is tempting, actual ownership experience can be less tempting. There is no such concerns about the safety: The Audi A4 (upon which the A5 Sportback) scored the full five stars in its Euro NCAP tests.
