- Excessive wind noise
- inner quality not as good as VW
"The SEAT Altea is a great looking people carrier to drive, is good, reasonably priced and generously equipped."

Based on the sister car, the Volkswagen Golf Plus, the SEAT Altea still one of the smartest - looking small minivan in the UK available. It is efficient, fun to drive and comes with a choice of two efficient diesel engines that offer an appealing balance of performance and economy, so it is cheap to run.
provides a convenient boots and a spacious interior, but rival people carrier such as the Ford C-MAX offer maximum functionality and more space for passengers. In fact, get the larger SEAT Altea XL not seven seats, which means it rivals like the Ford Grand C-MAX and Renault Grand Scenic loses out. Like the Golf Plus, however, offers the Altea solid build quality, good standard and affordable prices, which for affordable and fun family transportation.

diesel-only Altea has impressively low operating costs
Both the diesel engines are offered in the Altea, fuel-efficient. For the lowest cost, we would the 1.6-liter TDI recommend Ecomotive model that returns an impressive 62.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 119g has / km, for road tax of £ 30 per year. But the 2.0-liter TDI still manages a respectable 57mpg and 129g / km of CO2 emitted while being much faster and quieter on the highway.

of the Altea is simple, thanks to its decent diesel engines for use
of Altea comes with a choice of 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter TDI these days diesel engines - the spirits that were offered, the previously set. Both diesel engines offer a combination of impressively low operating costs and eager performance that matches the Altea well.
There is very little body lean through corners, even if the suspension is relatively soft, while the brakes react and steering correctly. The Altea is not as much fun as a Ford C-MAX or as comfortable as a VW Golf Plus to drive, but it feels solid, quiet and safe at any speed. It does offer just nothing to sit apart from competitors - but given his age, which can be easily solved if the next generation of the car appears.

Interior & Comfort

The diesel engines could be quieter, and there is no petrol available
it is a shame that the 1.2 and 1.4 liter petrol engines offered in Altea be used, has been removed, because they were much quieter than the diesel engines, which are the only option now. They rattle at low speeds, although this is how you stop soon as you pick up the pace. You can hear the wind gusts to the front doors on the highway, but it is not very big annoying. Overall, the Altea is comfortable and drives well.
-
practicality & trunk
-
relative small boat inside, but there is lots of storage space
There are many clean and practical touches to distinguish the Altea, including additional storage space under the boot floor and a parcel shelf with a storage area built-in. However, while 409 liters of boot sounds pretty good, it C-MAX has beaten competitors like the Ford, which has an impressive 550 liters compared.
But the Altea is real downfall in this area that you can maximize the rear seats Remove memory. They are mounted on runners, though - so you either footwell for the rear passengers to raise or give yourself a little more space in the trunk. They divided 60/40 and fold flat without the need to remove the headrests.
The larger SEAT Altea XL has an additional 123 liters of boot, to give a total capacity of 1,604 liters with the rear seats folded down.

price, price-performance ratio and options

Comparatively low and well over the range
equippedIf the Altea against his main rival line-up sees the SEAT as pretty good value. Home prices are low and the top-of-the-range models are cheaper than comparable vehicles from Volkswagen or Ford.
If you choose the entry-level S Copa model, you get alloy wheels, air conditioning, CD stereo, electric front windows and electric mirror. The SE Copa trim adds rear parking sensors and automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers and rear windows tinted and touchscreen navigation.
