"The Mercedes-AMG GT is a sports car designed to rival the Porsche 911. It is stunning to look at and sublime driving."

Mercedes has an illustrious history in motorsport and has a lot of high-performance sports car produced in the past, but few of them have as those concentrated and felt dynamic as the Mercedes-AMG GT.
More recently, the Mercedes SL and Mercedes SLS AMG Mercedes demonstrated ability to produce fast and powerful cars, but the former was more of a luxury cruiser and the latter was a cross between a muscle car and supercar. In contrast, the AMG GT feels like a very well-rounded and experienced sports car.
Those who can afford a AMG GT have to consider some very attractive alternatives before making a final decision, with the Porsche 911, Aston make Martin V8 Vantage, Jaguar F-Type and Audi R8 all about the same price range.

Under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG GT is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 456bhp. Go for the more expensive AMG GT S and you get a car with 503bhp. Both are rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The standard model can from 0-62mph in just four seconds to obtain, while the AMG GT S is faster, the same sprint in 3.8 seconds do
This car in a straight line not only fast, though. it is impressive even in corners thanks to a lot of grip and excellent balance. What's more, you do not have to sacrifice creature for all that performance and comfort, the GT is both used on a daily basis and as practical as most of its competitors.
While it is true that the car, so actually doing easy enough to use the running costs you could regularly scare. Mercedes says an average of 30mpg fuel economy is possible, but the car with any sort of enthusiasm drive (as you certainly want to do), and you can expect this number to at least halve. CO2 emissions are relatively reasonable - but in truth, efficiency is neither the point nor the strong side of any car in this class

As you would expect from a Mercedes, especially to expensive this, the AMG GT comes with plenty of standard equipment, including electrically adjustable heated sports seats, Internet connectivity, DAB digital radio and a DVD player.
, the "base" model costs almost £ 100,000 and the AMG GT S model adds a further £ 15,000 to the price. Whichever model you choose, but you will not be disappointed, because the Mercedes is nice to see from inside and outside, and really the best review is to drive.
