, the BMW M3 is the benchmark when it comes average power sedans, convertibles and coupes. This has been the case always the first model in 1985 appeared - initially only in coupe and convertible forms. But now the coupe and convertible models are known as M4, while the M3 is available as a four-door sedan.

The speed is not the only reason for turbocharger behind switching, however. Along with power to increase, they make the engine much cleaner and more economical than its predecessor.
The M3 is also available with BMW Competition Package available. For an extra £ 3000 this package of performance upgrades taking the power of the M3 to 444bhp, while its 0-62 time to 4 seconds drops dead. The competition pack also includes exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, lightweight sport seats and a sport exhaust system.
The competition pack provides M3 buyers relatively good value, thanks to the sporty styling and upgraded suspension, as well as the increase in power brings. BMW expects it to be a popular option, and while it makes the M3 even faster and sharper to drive, uncomfortable stiff suspension of the competition pack can find some on the potholed roads in the UK.
An M3 is easy to handle, also - and this continues to this trend. There is plenty of grip and the steering is excellent. You could ride quality expected to be affected to a standard 3-series in comparison, but while it is certainly firm that M3 remains quite comfortable. Add to that the fact it is still a four-door sedan with a rather large boat, and it remains as practical as its less famous siblings, the 320d.
Rivals for the M3 are few and far between, but if you are in the market, then you should look for the hottest version of the Mercedes C-Class - Mercedes-AMG C63 - or, if you wait a while the upcoming new Audi RS4. Both are the added bonus of practicality as real estate available.
As it sits at the top of the 3 Series, the M3 gets many devices as standard. Bi-xenon headlights, leather seats, navigation system and heated electrically adjustable sports seats are all thrown in.

On the other hand not much can be done about the car large 19-inch alloy wheels, which transmit quite a bit of noise from the street to the otherwise refined decor. This applies even more, with 20-inch wheels that come with the Competition Package.

The BMW M3 is surprisingly comfortable for a sports sedan
There is no BMW M3 roots in the common-or-garden BMW 3 undeniable. That's not a bad thing - it means that you can enjoy a comfortable, ergonomic interior with a sporty driving position, the space between a high-mounted center console and the driver-oriented controls cocoons. The M3 also has a large screen for its excellent standard Navi system.
Of course there are a few touches more athletic than you get in the standard 3-series, such as a pair of hip-hugging sports seats and a smattering of M-badge. There is a small steering wheel for the full racecar effect, although its rim is quite thick. Nevertheless, it's easy, convenient to get through a full range of adjustment for the steering wheel and seats. In addition, the M3 has front and rear parking sensors, so squeezing into tight spaces a breeze.

a BMW M3 the choice does not mean compromising practicality for performance. Despite offers speed on a par with a Porsche 911, the M3 has two doors, a much larger boat and rear seats, the adults sitting in, rather than the pitiful space you get in the back of a 911.
It's not perfect, but. Legroom is quite limited in the back due to the broad center tunnel which runs the length of the car, especially if you are there three adults back tote.
The front sport seats M3 are particularly comfortable, both heated electrically adjustable. The interior offers plenty of storage space, including large door pockets, a lid equipped center cubby, a glove box and cup holders.
get the same 480-liter trunk as the normal BMW 3 Series, which means there is plenty of space for luggage. The trunk opening is not as big as a gasoline engine - standard stuff for a sedan, really - and there is also a load lip you have to lift luggage over, but that is no different than any of the sedan rivals the M3.
