"The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer a worthy alternative to upscale mainstream mini-MPVs."

The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is the first attempt of the BMW on an MPV to offer a practical alternative 1er to the BMW sedan and BMW 2 Series Coupe. It is located close to the Mercedes B-class (probably the closest rival Active Tourer) and has a similar amount of space inside. A Ford C-MAX or Volkswagen Golf SV is cheaper to buy, but.
There are a number of petrol and diesel engines to choose from, with highlights such as a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol and a 2.0-liter diesel. The largest engines with BMW xDrive all-wheel drive will also be combined.

The diesel may sound a little rough but more punch bid if you are likely to regularly carry a full load. The cheaper petrol engines will be better if you do not cover that many miles. A plug-in hybrid is also available - 225xe called - and should return an alleged 141mpg - it is the only plug-in hybrid premium MPV for sale
Standard equipment is generous and the Active Tourer interior build quality is very. well what to justify the somewhat high price, in a way, both. The Active Tourer comes in SE, Sport or M Sport trim levels, with even the entry-level SE get satellite navigation, alloy wheels, an electronic tailgate, DAB digital radio and dual-zone climate control. Top-of-the-range models in cast leather seats, sports suspension and xDrive all-wheel drive.
As with any MPV, the Active Tourer for passengers has more space inside and your material than the average hatchback, but has a few niggles that something like a Citroen C4 Picasso overcomes. There are plenty of storage spaces, however, and the Active Tourer is the high form, there is a lot of room in the back.

to be a BMW, assumes the Active Tourer actually better than some of its competitors. It's not a sports car by any means, but shared a chassis with the hatchback MINI and sharp steering ensures a compelling journey.
There is no a Ford C-MAX or Vauxhall Zafira Tourer offers denying a better price-performance ratio, but if you want something a bit different, which is to drive a lot of fun, has a high-quality interior and enough space for the whole family, then the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is worth a look.
