- not very efficient
- Could more be practical
- Rivals to drive better
"The Hyundai ix35 wins for style, space and its great warranty, but some rivals is cheaper to run."

Although it now from the Hyundai Tucson, the Hyundai ix35 was a mainstay of the brand area, while the sale was between replaced in 09 and 2015 against talented rivals such as the Nissan Qashqai, Skoda Yeti and Kia Sportage, it his own and offered always held a slightly different, good value for money rate, as well as a generous and comprehensive five-year warranty ,

On average, most people switch auto every three years or so, which means if your ix35 newly bought and buy it from them second hand, there is another two years will be guaranteed. This is a huge amount of peace - especially since this car is aimed at families on a budget. Best of all, but there is no mileage limitation on the guarantee, it will not expire before the five years. Moreover, there are additional benefits such as roadside assistance.
The ix35 is a stylish, spacious and practical car, too, and while there is no seven-seat option, it is perfect if you need only five seats. The boot is a decent size, but it is not quite as useful as that in some of its competitors - the 60:40 split folding rear seats do not fold completely flat, which reduces both the available space on 1436 liters, making it difficult heavy items in and to push out. That is, with the rear seats, the boat is large enough, but it is difficult to drag heavy objects on the high load lip.
While the Hyundai interior looks quite smart, you can find used quality materials a little behind which is in some of its competitors. It do not come very well equipped, but with even the entry level S model come with air conditioning and wheels alloy. Our favorite of the five orders available (S, SE, SE Nav, Premium and Premium Panorama) is SE Nav as you get cruise control, Bluetooth phone connectivity, heated front and rear seats, rear parking sensors, satellite navigation and a rear parking camera.
Under the hood there is a choice of two diesels - a 1.7 and a 2.0-liter - and a gasoline, a 1.6-liter. Our favorite is the 1.7-liter diesel, as it offers the best balance between performance and efficiency. However, it is likely that you will buy a little more than to put the gasoline in the first place, so if you do not do that many miles, the gasoline might be a better bet.
The 2.0-liter diesel offers the strongest power in the region, but to buy a lot more and its standard four-wheel-drive system increases the running costs costs. It is the best choice work for towing, but.

None of the motors makes the ix35 especially entertaining, but to drive. At low speeds and in the city, the suspension is not with waves deal particularly well, while at higher speeds, it pitches and rolls too much, which leads to considerable body lean in corners. The steering is not instills a huge amount of confidence, either, so this is not a car for driving enthusiasts.
security should be no problem, though, as Euro NCAP, the ix35 the full five stars excellent, thanks in part to standard safety equipment, including traction control, anti-lock brakes, stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system and a stability assist system Chain
in terms of reliability, Hyundai has a decent reputation -. the brand was 16 for reliability of 32 manufacturers in our 2015 Driver Power owner satisfaction survey rated and placed 21st overall. The ix35 itself but fared not quite as good. There was a total of 0 cars and 124 125 for its reliability in the same survey.
There was also a recall in 2014 for a seat belt failure, so make sure that this work is done before you buy a used example. That is, the left one with a certain guarantee purchase should any reliability worries over.
