"It is easy to see why the Ford Fiesta is the most popular new car in the country. It is great to drive, good to see and cheap to run. "

If you go to a small compact car, then you can not really go wrong with the Ford Fiesta. It looks good, drives brilliantly and has a fantastic range of engines that combine brilliant performance and fuel economy. It is easy to see why more Fiestas have in the UK than any other model in history.
You may find, however, that was sold in terms of practicality, the Ford has fallen a bit behind his rival. Its 20-liter boot is smaller than what you get in the Skoda Fabia, VW Polo, Renault Clio and Seat Ibiza - and just a little in front of the Opel Corsa. It also feels a little tight in the back - especially the three-door versions, which have a steeply sloping roofline. This restricts an air travel and makes in and out of the rear seats to get tricky.
Under the hood, as long as you avoid the entry-level petrol, there are many interesting engines to choose from. The famous 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder "EcoBoost" is gasoline with 99, 123 or 138bhp available, while the selection of the diesel range is the 94bhp 1.5-liter four-cylinder. You can also go for a high-performance Ford Fiesta ST, with either 178 or 197bhp can be had, but we have verified that this model separately.

If you're after the most efficient Fiesta , then you should use the 1.5-liter diesel. This is to 65mpg on average, while the CO2 emissions of 94g / km mean private buyers do not pay road tax. This also means company car buyers are only liable for 18% benefit-in-kind (BiK) contributions.
If you think, however, gasoline suits you better, we would either 99 or 123bhp recommend 1.0- liter EcoBoost engines. Your running costs are exactly the same, and although the more powerful version will cost more to buy, it comes with a practical part of additional power, also.

In addition to a really good choice of engines , the Fiesta is to drive the best car in the class. While competitors like the Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Fabia to focus more on comfort and elegance, the Fiesta is all about fun. It really is to drive a cry and, although not quite as cosseting as the two VW group rivals, it is not uncomfortable, either. He takes sharp and has wonderfully precise and direct steering.
We will be honest, the entry-level Fiesta is a little too thin equipped for us to recommend. We would suggest that you at least go the mid-range Zetec, gets things as DAB radio, Bluetooth, alloy wheels, chrome exterior finish and some leather interior.
you will not be too impressed with the quality or design of the interior of the Fiesta. Compared to the likes of the Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia and SEAT Ibiza, it feels very dated, in fact, mainly thanks to the buttons on the dashboard scattered. The small backlit LCD infotainment screen feels very last decade, especially compared to the sharp color touch screens in some of its competitors. Some of the plastic at the fair do not feel particularly high-end, either
to some concerns about the safety - especially in such a small car, but we're pretty sure that this will be no problem. Euro NCAP gave the Fiesta the full five stars if it was tested in 2012 and the car comes with all the safety kit you would expect as standard.
We still have concerns about the reliability, but. The Fiesta came on the 105th of 150 cars in our 2016 Driver Power owner satisfaction survey saw, while the mark 27 came from 32 manufacturers. Owner specifically cites poor reliability and build quality as well as problems.
