Volkswagen Golf R Cabriolet

- Quick acceleration
- Much grip in corners
- Comfortable and quiet for not as sharp long trips
- expensive compared to rival
- as Golf R hatchback
- expensive run
"The Golf R Cabriolet is about 0 percent as much as the sedan, but it's outpriced of its competitors."
The Volkswagen Golf R Cabriolet is the fastest convertible, Volkswagen has ever produced and the first soft-top of the line "R" to wear badges that referred to the company's fastest and DB schemes. Unlike the Golf R hatchback, the convertible is not going to get four-wheel drive, and is only available with front-wheel drive. It produces 261bh can accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds and has a very stiff suspension set-up to maximize cornering. Volkswagen reduces the price of the Golf R Cabriolet, as it was extremely expensive at the start, but it is unfortunately still a bit too expensive compared to its competitors.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs
-
day to day costs and insurance premiums are high
the R Cabriolet is used a 2.0-liter turbo engine, but not things like start-stop to boost the consumption values. As a result it has an official fuel consumption of 34.4mpg figure, with CO2 emissions of 10 g / km. In reality, to see fuel consumption by the mid-20s and insurance costs normal driving use, to be relatively high.

of boots bulky, but the interior is spacious
There is a pretty good amount is in the rear seats accommodate tall passengers, but the fact that it is only a two-door model, access to the rear seats can be difficult. The boot is a bit of an awkward shape and you can only fit two or three large pockets in it as a result. There are handles in the trunk so that you fold down the rear seats when you need to carry larger items. Officially says Volkswagen 250 liters of space is there, but we think this would be difficult to meet. The convertible top is at the press of a button up and down and takes to move around nine seconds and out of place.

reliability and safety

All parts are well proven and the R was five stars for crash safety aspects
Both the platform that the Golf R Cabriolet on and the engines will be built, it uses have already since now a good few years without any major problems in terms of reliability. It's NCAP five stars for crash safety by Euro to forgive, said safety body even at 96 per cent for adult occupant protection mark. In the event of a rollover, two support struts shoot from behind the rear seats passengers to protect.

R Cabriolet is extremely expensive - even before you order tempting options
This is an area where the Golf R Cabriolet to justify itself, struggle. The Golf R Cabriolet is about £ 3,100 more expensive than the Golf GTI Cabriolet, but you will still pay for extras such as navigation and adaptive dampers. Thanks to a new price, the car is much cheaper than it was at the start, but it is still hard to justify on the only slightly slower GTI Cabriolet. On the plus side, you get a fully electric roof, leather upholstery, an automatic transmission and air conditioning included in the price.
