the first generation of the Volvo XC0 was the first luxury SUV of the Swedish brand, and proved to be extremely successful. Family loved his room, safety credentials and reliability, while Prestige buyers loved its luxury and easy alternative image. It was safely out of the BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Mercedes ML.
It is a tribute to the success of the original, that it stayed in production for 12 years, and Volvo knew it was going to replace a hard task have the XC0 with something that the imagination of the public in the same would detect ways. The result was a new XC0, which arrived in 2015 to give the device a bit to think again.

If anything, it will rival the BMW X5, Audi Q7, land Rover Discovery and Mercedes GLE with even more confidence than before and provides excellent sharp, individual look. It means business, with an imposing grille and signature "Thor's Hammer" LED headlamps. Volvo current clean design language runs to the rear of the car, while the wheel arches have muscular shoulders and the tailgate is framed by long, tapering tail lamps out.
The interior is perhaps even more elegant. As before, there is room for up to seven, but this time two adults can actually sit in the third row in relative comfort. There are luxury to spare, even with attractive materials all around and a real sense of quality in everything you touch.
Volvo is proud of its identity and heritage, and are memories like Swedish flags see rightly on the seat cushion and "Since 1959" etched into the seat belts - a reference to the year Volvo pioneered the three ~~ POS = TRUNC seatbelt. Meanwhile, you are left in no doubt that Volvo is thinking through the large portrait-oriented high-resolution display of the future, which dominates the center of the dashboard. This screen is the control center for much of the impressive in-car technology XC0.
XC0 occupant toasty find undisturbed by intrusive mechanical noises, since the sound of the car is very effective and the motors themselves are impressively subdued. All three engines are the same size (2.0 liters) and much less than many competitors motors. However, they put sophisticated technology to ensure much power there is allied impressive fuel.
There are two spirits, called T5 and T6 and two diesel called D4 and D5 and a plug-in hybrid gasoline called T8 Twin Engine. The D4 is equipped with front-wheel drive only, but all the others are four-wheel drive. All versions are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Our choice of the fleet is the D4 -Diesel with front wheel drive. It's probably a bestseller, boasting 54.3 mpg fuel consumption and a £ 130-a-year road tax bill to be while still to be impressively powerful. The T6 petrol is fast, but suffers from higher operating costs, while the T8 twin-engine hybrid is rated for road tax zero but considerably more expensive to buy. His alleged 134.5mpg fuel consumption is, in our experience, very difficult to implement.
The XC0 is an impressively quiet car, but it is much more at home than Kreuzer as a sporting tool for secondary roads. If vigorously taken through a corner, it takes good, but it leans very much and the steering is too light to give a lot of confidence. The XC0 in other areas characterized however, especially comfort. All models are equipped with a huge amount of standard equipment, satellite nav system from Volvo Sensus including, LED headlights, DAB radio, electric front seats and a powered tailgate.
