"The Abarth 595 a sporty hatchback based on the Fiat 500, the driving characterful and fun."
The Abarth 595 a hot hatchback is based on the dinky Fiat 500 cars that use basic form, Abarth has a muscular body kit, sporty added alloy wheels and a turbo 1.4-liter Add petrol engine an extra portion of power that, as you increase the three-car range upwards.
The latest 595 is essentially a facelift of the Abarth 500 and reflects the changes in Fiat to the standard 500. done now Abarth the latest Uconnect boasts infotainment system and a new flat-bottom steering wheel, as well as some styling tweaks inside and out
the 595 lineup consists of three cars. the standard 143bhp 595, the mid-range 163bhp Turismo and Competizione hardcore 178bhp version. The latter comes with stiffer suspension and the option of a limited slip differential to improve the performance of the vehicle in curves. It is the only to go for if you want the fastest, most uncompromising 595.
Due to the relatively low weight of the car industry is not unduly bad for a car focused on driving thrills, but the practice is, of course, hampered by the city-car dimensions of the 595. All models in the series have to get quite uncomfortable solid suspension, in particular the Competizione so badly surfaced roads.
Overall, however, the 595 is to drive a lot of fun and that is the number one priority for most people considering buying one. It feels agile and sharp in the corners, the engine sounds great and the gearbox is a pleasure to use. While some hot hatchbacks are better all-rounders than the Abarth 595 (MINI Cooper S to only one) few have so much character.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs
-
the gasoline engine "595 is relatively small and turbocharging helps efficiency
the Abarth 595 is available in three different power levels, but because they all use the same turbocharged 1.4-liter gasoline engine ( tweaked to provide more or less power is available), Abarth maintains the same efficiency values for all models in the range. economy is at 47.1mpg, while CO2 emissions of 139g / km result in motor vehicle tax of £ 130 per year.
the MINI Cooper S is faster from 0-62mph than all but the top model Competizione version of the 595. it is also slightly more economical - although not with enough to make it into a lower tax bracket than the Abarth.

motors, drive & Performance
-
The 595 is quick and sharp, precise steering
There are three 595 models to choose from has. The standard 595 comes with 143bhp, while the 595 Turismo has 163bhp. The top model Competizione has 178bhp and is said to be the most hardcore version. The entry level car can manage 0-62mph in 7.8 seconds, the Turismo takes 7.3 seconds and the Competizione does in 6.7 seconds.
We think the Competizione is the best of the bunch from the driver's perspective. Not only does it the most power, but it also has firmer suspension than the other two models, thanks to stiffer shock absorbers. This strength and precise steering and slick gearbox of cars mean change the 595 Competizione direction with great speed and balance. The range topper is the only model to have the sports 'Monza' exhaust that contributes another layer of joy to the 595 driving experience.

Interior & Comfort
-
The interior is pleasant, but the suspension is very firm, especially on the top model
of 595 now comes five inch Uconnect infotainment screen with Fiat as a standard, and it can be upgraded to a seven-inch screen as an option. It helps to look inside and feel more modern, as well as a flat wheel. Sports bucket seats on the Competizione model look great and are surprisingly comfortable, even, but overall, the sitting position - as it has in the previous version - feels a little too high
All 595s feel very strong, especially the. Competizione model, and it can make an unpleasant car on poorly maintained roads. The loud, hoarse, exhaust noise is much fun if you. In the mood, but it can be a little tiring if you take things more leisurely
-
practicality & trunk
-
The 595 is a small car with little space in the trunk
The 595 is a small, three-door, so inevitably practicality is not his strong point. to get in the back is not a very pleasant experience and there is only room for two people once there -. although the rear passengers a relatively decent amount of legroom available, even for large people in the front sitting
boot space is quite tight at 185 liters, but to create the rear seats fold down a 550-liter space if you really need some more space. A MINI has a little more space, plus his boots is easier to use; the shape of 595 means that the boot lip is relatively high, and the opening is relatively narrow.
-
reliability and safety
-
Fiat has a bad reputation for reliability
to make Fiat a reputation for unreliable cars, which does not bode particularly well for Abarth 595 as had historically on the basis Fiat 500. the 595 itself is not sold in sufficient numbers in our drivers Power survey to make customer satisfaction, but the Fiat 500 came a 101st-place in the reliability category including 87th from 0 cars in 2015. in 2016 came Fiat dead of 32 brands in the manufacturer rankings last.
The latest Abarth 595 has, however, undergone revisions and may ultimately benefit from the engineering that has made it a much faster car than the standard 500 on which it is based.

price, price-performance ratio and options
-
Standard equipment is good, but top-spec model is quite expensive
The entry 595 comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, a five-inch touch screen -Infotainment system (with Bluetooth, USB, AUX port and DAB radio), air conditioning and electric mirrors.
The mid-range Turismo model gets 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and dual-zone climate control, while the top model Competizione for a whole range of additional options sporty bucket seats and xenon headlamps and the granting adds - as wheels and color schemes -. not on the less powerful models
include options sat -nav, a larger infotainment screen, Beats stereo, a power sunroof, alternative alloy wheel designs, a carbon fiber finish for the dashboard and sporty graphics outside.
Prices for the 595 start at just over £ 15,000 and climb to £ 20,000 for the top-of-the-range model that you have seriously a MINI Cooper S instead of taking into account, as they so roughly fast as the 595 Competizione is, still has a lower entry price.
