"Despite its tiny size, the Fiat Panda 4x4 is better able than many larger SUVs."

Fiat remains the only carmaker to squeeze a full-time four-wheel drive system in a small car. In addition to all-wheel drive, the Panda 4x4 47mm moves higher than the standard Panda, plus it has chunkier bumpers, like a baby Land Rover it look. However, it retains the compact dimensions of the standard Panda, making it easier to live with and use in the city as a full-size offroader.
There is a choice of petrol or diesel engines, and if you see the way of such off-roads but need to keep costs in check, there is a front-wheel-drive model of the Panda Trekking called, which is cheaper to buy and run. Finally, there is the Panda Cross, the most robust version of the car, still has more ground clearance, mud and snow tires as standard and exclusive color is finished inside and out.
The Panda 4x4 Panda Trekking and Panda Cross all sit above the normal Panda in the area, and are more expensive as a result. However, standard better than the normal car also.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs

Off-road additions ramp running costs
The Panda 4x4 and Trekking can either a 74bhp 1.3-liter diesel engine or a 84bhp 0.9-liter gasoline are given, both with stop-start technology that turns off automatically when you are stopped in traffic. In Panda Cross, produce both engines an additional 5bhp. None of the vehicles emit less than 100 g / km CO2, so there is no free road tax for Panda 4x4 owners.
The diesel and petrol models return 74.3mpg trekking and 61.4mpg respectively, while the same engines in the 4x4 and Cross should see 64.2mpg and 57.6mpg. However, despite the additional mechanical complexity of the 4x4 system of Panda remains to run a realtively cheap car, insure and service.

motors, drive & Performance

Panda is quite small but the additional headroom is a more comfortable ride on longer journeys. The diesel engine is a little noisy, both at rest and at speed, but it offers a lot of power, while the TwinAir gasoline makes a unique, character buzzer, which is more like a moped than a car.
Raised ground clearance, a clever electronic differential and a special low-ratio first gear make the 4x4 Panda a decent off-road car. Few are probably more than a damp area, to see, but it can handle the most difficult terrain with ease, bringing some larger SUVs in the process in embarrassment.
visibility and maneuverability remain as good as they are in the regular model, and the controls are light, too, so that the Panda 4x4 and Trekking very easy to cross the city. The Panda Cross is the best off-roader in the area while comfortably remain on asphalt, but the extra headroom means there are plenty of body lean when driving enthusiastically around the corner.

Interior & Comfort

ride is like a much bigger car
Panda offers excellent front seats well, while the increased ride height requires improved road visibility. The suspension gives a comfortable ride over large bumps and potholes, feel the Panda 4x4, trekking and cross as larger cars, even if they are in the UK really direct competitors for some of the smallest models makes for sale. The 4x4 is a bit more consistently rough surfaces insecure about, however.
Fiat this generation of Panda has given larger windows than the previous model, so the interior light and airy. I f you are considering the Panda Cross, i t recalled that his standard mud and snow tires are much more curious than normal rubber in day-to-day driving.

practicality & trunk
-
of Panda is small outside but big inside
For such a small car, the Panda 4x4 is impressively practical. The interior is unchanged from the standard version, so there is plenty of room for driver and front passenger, and a large storage area, glovebox and two cupholders (the Panda 4x4 actually adds an extra storage compartment on the standard car tally of 14).
The rear seats offer good flexibility, but will also adults narrow footwell. The boat offers a decent 225 liters, but the extra height makes it a little more difficult heavy items in the trunk than the standard Panda lift. The rear seat is not completely flat do not fold and not divided 60:40, also.

Based on proven Fiat 500 parts
Fiat for reliability not the strongest reputation in the UK, but the brand is working hard to make amends. The company has also introduced the Mopar brand to dealers to improve the after-sales and warranty promises. A Fiat Panda 4x4 care package will also be offered, including four-year warranty, roadside assistance, maintenance and a set of four winter tires. The Panda 4x4 is built on the same platform as the Fiat 500, and the brand claims his four-wheel drive system does not require additional maintenance.
was tested when the Panda Cross model of Euro NCAP, he received a three-star safety rating. That was in poor marks in the pedestrian safety and safety assist category due.

price, price-performance ratio and options
-
quite expensive to buy, but well equipped
the Fiat Panda 4x4 initially seems quite expensive - especially as the regular Panda range a very good value ratio offers. However, included the amount of standard equipment makes up for this: air conditioning, electric windows, electric mirrors, a USB port are all standard. This is in addition to the off-road upgrades include 15-inch alloy wheels, bigger bumpers and steel lower body protection. However, if you do not need four-wheel drive, the Panda Trekking model is cheaper and comes with the same features and a clever Traction + system which improves grip on wet or snowy roads.
Panda Cross with extra plastic cladding and skid plates, more ground clearance and bumpers better suited to sufficiently off-road, but for most British mortorists affordable Panda 4x4.
