"All versions of the Volvo V70 make great motorway cruiser with its impressive refinement, comfortable seats and high-performance engines."

The Volvo V70 is a great combination, which seems to have for an age already. Newer rivals may roomier, less expensive or more entertaining to drive, but the V70 remains a stalwart in the class and the permanent favorite of many buyers. Boot space is 1,0 liters with the rear seats folded down, but the latest Skoda Superb trumps this figure by an impressive 265 liters and another rival, the BMW 5 Series Touring is larger by 70 liters. Nevertheless, the V70 still family esate a very practical and spacious.
Volvo V70 revised the area in 2013. Discontinuing petrol models, so that today the V70 only with one of four diesel engines available. Size in the range between 1.6 liter and 2.4 liter and the blend of performance and economy means available that makes the V70 sense for business users as well as private buyers.
Although all four engines are smooth efficient, the 2.0- liter D4 engine is the outstanding choice. It provides all the punch and pace that you would expect from a large, comfortable cruiser property but also claimed an official economy figure of over 60mpg.

in the same way that some the competition of the V70 has overtaken in terms of boot space, so some competitors who will drive better cars. The V70 is highway driving very relaxing and quiet thanks to its powerful engines, built good space and comfortable seats, but when you get it on winding roads you will be aware of its size and how easy and uncommunicative steering feels.
Despite the fact feel a little dated its launch, the V70 is still looking for a distinctive car. You may not feel as solid or as noble as a BMW or Mercedes, but Volvo interiors are clear, simple, stylish and practical.
There are three trim levels to choose from, when a V70 and all of them to buy feature a decent level of equipment. The entry level Business Edition comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, Navi, digital radio, cruise control and air conditioning. Moving to SE Nav gets you 17-inch alloy wheels and leather-faced upholstery, while splashing out on the SE Lux model a powered driver's seat and xenon headlamps complements. Although the top two trims feel more luxurious, the entry-level Business Edition model is around £ 6,000 cheaper than the SE Nav to make a much cheaper rate in this form of the V70.
Volvo has a very good reputation for safety and the V70 stands out in this regard. The three-year / 60,000 mile warranty is these days nothing special and you can see the V70 expect more than a Ford or Opel model service costs. Here is the age of the V70 residual values of the car was first launched as have fallen, so try to make it worthwhile to negotiate a big discount from your dealer or considering a recent mdoel how excellent Skoda Superb Estate.
