"With its unconventional design and twin-boot doors of the MINI Clubman offers a suppliant Linkauffangene alternative to the traditional family sedan."

If the original MINI Clubman in 07 launched, it marked its unusual styling as a kind niche set out, while having only a rear-hinged back door limits its attractiveness further. Unsurprisingly, MINI sold some examples and it remains something of a curiosity.
For the new Clubman MINI has played relatively safe. Although the trunk still has a pair of gap opening "barn doors", but the rear doors are conventionally hinged now and it mercifully two of them.

This unique boot doors manually can be opened, or waved by an optional system that recognizes your foot under the bumper and are once opened, they reveal a well-shaped boot. But while it is nominally a property, the Clubman 360 liters of cargo capacity means cars like the Skoda Fabia and SEAT Ibiza ST it downright Endurance dwarf. True the Clubman rivals are really conventional five-door premium hatchbacks like the Audi A3 Sportback and Mercedes A-Class, as well as the family-oriented Volkswagen Golf SV.
On the road, the MINI Clubman softer suspension than the MINI hatchback five-door, although it is still designed with driver involvement as a priority. This is a winning combination, how it is well insulated from bad roads and potholes, but the Clubman is to control pleasantly along twisty back roads.

the Clubman is a series of petrol and diesel engines available. The cheapest model is the 136bhp 1.5-liter petrol Cooper Clubman. This gives 55.4mpg, only costs £ 30 per year in road tax and can go from 0-62mph in a reasonable 9.1 seconds. If you are looking for more power, returns the 192bhp 2.0-liter petrol Cooper S Clubman 45.6mpg and leaves you vulnerable to a road tax bill of £ 145, but its 0-62mph time of 7.2 seconds means it is fast, near Sport offer -Auto power.
the entry-level diesel model as One D Clubman is known, and comes with a 1.5-liter engine, which of 74.3mpg is capable and is road tax exempt thanks to its low CO2 emissions. Though, it is still capable of 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds, the most economical model in the range. Stepping up to the 150bhp Cooper D Clubman provides the engine to 2.0 liters and the 0-62mph time drops grow to 8.6 seconds, while fuel consumption is 68.9mpg and road tax costs just £ 20 per year.

the most powerful diesel model is the Cooper SD Clubman. This has the same basic 2.0 liter engine as the Cooper D, but produces 187bhp and can go from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds. The fuel consumption of 62.8mpg and road tax per year means of just £ 30, it's still running relatively cheap, despite the power to offer.
If you are after a little more grip, MINI offers the top-spec Cooper S cars (both diesel and petrol) with ALL4 all-wheel drive. While some, a four-wheel-drive MINI can find properties in response, drop provides fuel consumption of this system installation of about 4mpg and vehicle tax a band increase (£ 110 for the diesel, £ 185 for the petrol), while the higher list prices are likely to limit further appeal.
Inside the MINI Clubman MINI customers will feel familiar. This means that you get a quirky and well built instrument panel with a large central choice for satellite navigation and infotainment systems dominant method. The entry level car gets a leather steering wheel, navigation system, a DAB radio, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.
Regarding the options, add the chilli Pack heated part leather seats, keyless entry (the negotiated open boat doors) includes rear parking sensors, LED headlights and a variety of indoor and outdoor trim upgrades. While priced at £ 2785, the Chilli pack remains popular among buyers is expensive because it adds a lot of useful equipment that would be much more expensive if purchased separately. Note that when you carried away (especially in the more powerful models) the prospect of a £ 30,000 MINI Clubman is simple to implement.
In terms of safety, the MINI Clubman scored four out of five stars in its Euro NCAP crash tests. During the test program become exhausting lately, car buyers are increasingly demanding the full five stars in these days, the importance Clubman is slightly out of step with the competition.
Owning a Clubman should be a pleasant affair. While having a car relabelled in our 2015 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey, the MINI hatchback came an impressive ninth in 0 models (with which it shares many components).
