"The Kia pro_cee'd is a stylish, efficient and comfortable three-door model, backed by generous amenities and a seven-year warranty. "

of Kia pro_cee'd is a three-door version of Kia Cee'd family hatchback, the slightly less functionality but larger offers style. It pitched against the three-door versions of the Volkswagen Golf, Hyundai i30 and Opel Astra and while it is not as desirable as the Golf, it makes a convicting case for itself thanks to a generous equipment list, comfortable driving experience and an appealing design.

to distance to the three-door pro_cee'd ' d from the five-door Kia Cee has to move 1, selected away from his simple, 2, 3 and 4 trim levels with this car: the pro_cee'd in entry-level form SR7, rising by pro_cee'd 'd 2 and on top spec GT -line. The pro_cee'd is with three petrol engines and one diesel; while none is particularly fast, offer the most reasonable fuel consumption to be 72.4mpg with the diesel engine road tax free and able. All Pro_cee'ds are a six-speed manual transmission as standard, while the top-spec GT-Line is also a seven-speed automatic - although economy is suffering a bit, if you choose this option. Kia makes the benefit pro_cee'd GT, which we have reviewed separately.

, the diesel engine is very efficient, the spirits less
While the pro_cee'd engine line-up of petrol engines dominated the 134bhp 1.6-liter diesel engine is actually the fastest and most efficient choice. This takes the car from 0-62mph in a fairly quick 9.5 seconds while returning 74.3mpg and only 99g / km CO2, which means it avoids only liable for road tax to be. Note that the larger wheels of the GT Line trim cause economic waste and CO2 emissions increase slightly.
If you are after a gasoline powered pro_cee'd, you have a wider choice. The cheapest is the 1.4-liter engine, the trim in entry-level SR7 only is available. This is relatively slow, with a 0-62mph time of 12.3 seconds, while reducing fuel consumption of 47.1mpg and CO2 emissions of 138g / km (£ 130 to make road tax per year) its attractiveness further. The 1.6-liter petrol is more efficient (thanks in part to the start-stop technology) managing 52.3mpg, but it will still cost £ 110 per year in road tax.
The 1.0-liter turbocharged engine is actually the best gasoline. It is available with either 98 or 118bhp (the latter only in GT Line trim) fuel consumption of 57.6mpg and annual road tax of just £ 30 (for both power outputs) to make it a more attractive prospect.
Insurance groups range from group six for the entry-level 1.4-liter petrol Group 14 for the powerful engines and higher trim levels. Kia Care 3 fixed price service makes maintenance easy and cheap to budget for, with three years worth of services £ 329 and five years costs come in at £ 609.

motors, drive & performance

is pro_cee'd a comfortable, rather than exciting car
to driveWhile the pro_cee'd has a more elegant and eye-catching design as the five-door Cee 'd these looks are not really matched by its driving experience. The suspension is comfortable on poor road conditions, but the trade-off for this is that there is a fair amount of body lean in corners.
The pro_cee'd is certainly to drive a recreational car, it's just not that exciting. You can the weight of the steering via Kia Flex Steer system, but also fit the heaviest setting it feels all too easily and is slightly vague in curves. In truth, it can not come close to the driving experience offered by the Ford Focus.

Interior & Comfort
-
Soft suspension and comfortable seats make the pro_cee'd relaxing
drivingthe design of Kia interior has seen a massive step up in recent years, and this is clearly , in the pro_cee'd. While the dashboard is not revolutionary or extremely conspicuous, it is pleasantly decorated, easy to use and feels solidly built. The steering wheel and driver's seat provide plenty of adjustment, so that drivers of all heights should find it easy to get comfortable. Front and rear passengers, now benefiting from generous head and legroom.

If you like driver involvement on behalf sacrifice of comfort that makes pro_cee'd a good case for itself: its seats are supportive and comfortable over long distances, while the soft suspension you also isolated by bad roads. Kia has also put in a lot of work to make pro_cee'd as quietly as possible, fits much sound-deadening material. The result is that the car stays quiet even at high speeds, held with wind and road noise in check. They note that Kia either Hankook or Continental tires fitted to his car and we found the latter to be far superior, as they offer much more grip than the Hankook.
-
practicality & trunk
-
Large front doors are for pro_cee'd three ~~ POS = TRUNC be
It is customary to make for manufacturers significant compromises in terms of outright practicality when three-door hatchback construction, but this is not the case with the pro_cee'd. Kia has the front doors nearly a foot longer than that of Cee, so get in the back is very simple -. Although in and out of rooms in tight parking can always be difficult
rear headroom (other area often compromised in three-door cars) is remarkably good, while the 380-liter boot is larger than the Ford Focus "and equal . the Volkswagen Golf is lowered with the split-folding rear seats, the cargo area grows to 1225 liters; we would the trunk opening may be larger, though, as larger items in the pro_cee'd store can be awkward
-
reliability and safety
-
The pro_cee'd has excellent reliability and security credentials
the pro_cee'd shares its mechanical underpinnings with the five-door Cee'd, and the car came an impressive 34th place (150 cars) in our 2016 driver Power customer satisfaction survey. Owner praised the quality of construction of Cee and functionality, while the reliability evaluated was also good. Kia Class leading seven years / 100,000-mile warranty means that you can rest easy should any problems occur.
Security is another strong point Cee, NCAP thanks to a five-star crash test rating from Euro. All Pro_cee'ds come with electronic stability control, six airbags and 'Emergency Stop Signalling "system of Kia, which automatically when you blink strongly the brake and hazard warning lights brake.

price, price-performance ratio and options
-
Kia is on generous with the amount standard equipment adjusts the pro_cee'd
is the cheapest route in pro_cee'd property is the SR7 model. Although this is only with the underwhelming 1.4-liter is -Benzinmotor, it has alloy wheels, air conditioning, DAB radio, rear parking sensors and Bluetooth phone connectivity.
Moving to the pro_cee'd 2 costs include £ roughly about 00, but also brings a wider choice of engines and cruise control, Kia adjustable Flex Steer system, LED daytime running lights and some exterior and interior styling tweaks. The top-spec GT-Line model is almost £ 2,500 more expensive than the pro_cee'd 2, and while it contains a navigation, a reversing camera, larger alloy wheels and keyless entry and go, and an updated dashboard display, it is too expensive to recommend realistic.
