"The Abarth 500C mini hot hatch loses its tip to provide a unique driving experience in the process."
The Abarth 500C is a high-performance version of the Fiat 500C Convertible City car. It uses the same 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine as Abarth 500, but it has a bit more power. The 500C comes with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. The automatic transmission can be moved manually steering wheel controls, but whichever mode you use, it is to respond rather slowly.
The 500C is not on the Abarth 500 hard top, a pair of striking two-tone paintwork, including with some special wheel and color options. As with the sedan the 500C is at Curves great, but the extremely stiff suspension means it is unpleasant to all but the smoothest roads
Three trim levels are available :. Custom Turismo and Competizione, with the high-spec of less than £ 22,000 without options output model. But prices can skyrocket if you are not careful with the extras, so watch out.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs

Decent fuel economy considering the performance on offer
you shell a lot for a 500C, but the day to day running costs are surprisingly low for such a sporty car , Official fuel consumption is 44mpg for most models, while the 595 Competizione can achieve 48.7mpg version. During the five-speed automatic transmission CO2 emissions increase, the 500C in the same road tax bracket than 500 hatchback. Maintenance costs will be useful, even if there are only 16 official Abarth dealers in the UK, so that you are traveling some distance, you need to see to get your car.
You need to think about the maintenance, also and all Abraths can be had with an "Easy Care" service plan that the car for anything between one and five years to cover. It covers all the costs for the service and for a typical three-year plan, it will cost £ 499 for every Abarth model.

Sharp handling is through the open roof not affected
[1945064mitderHeckklappe] How is the Abarth 500C is a fun car to drive fast and the open top is only your enhance pleasure, how the noise gets to hear the rumbling exhaust. just take the roof of a sporty hatchback affects usually about its handling, but because of the Abarth loses the central part, it is still a great artist. The automatic transmission is in day-to-day use in fine, but in Sport mode, the shifts are choppy when the throttle does not stand out on the change. For this reason, the transmission is more suitable to the car - not to mention cheaper.

Interior & Comfort
-
There is softer than the hatch, but still unpleasant
the sport of 500C seats hold in place good, but the suspension is very stiff, so that all kinds of may be bumps in the road to feel in the cabin. When the roof is open, there is the fabric roof on the boat, from the back, which blocks your view. Rear visibility is better than in a MINI Convertible with the roof.
-
practicality & trunk
-
One -Touch roof not not compromised boot space
As with the 500C, the Abarth 500C has a rather small boat. A maximum capacity of 183 liters is only good enough for a couple of travel bags, but that is far ahead of the boat in the larger MINI Convertible, which holds 125 liters only. The roof opens to sit at the back of the car at the touch of a button, when lowered so the trunk is the same, whether the roof is up or down. There is room for four inside, but the chunky sports seats my front, there is less leg room for rear passengers, as it is in the regular Fiat 500C.

reliability and safety

Fiat reliability has recently improved
of 500C usually has reliably been since its inception, thanks to the fact that the mechanical parts are already in the Fiat Panda city tried and tested car. Abarth models are built in limited numbers with more attention to detail than Fiat, while the automatic transmission Competizione has developed on the race track, so it should take also.
