"For the money, the Fiat Qubo is a seriously impressive all-around performer."
With prices from just over £ 10,000 for the entry-level 1.3-liter Multijet diesel version of Fiat Qubo is a very impressive all-around performer. It combines excellent efficiency with huge amounts of cabin space and a very large and versatile boat. This small, van-based MPV is perfect for families, long-range jouneys, large items to move or even in the city pinching - there is not much of Qubo can not do. The sliding rear doors mean that the access to the boot and rear seats is easy, even in confined spaces.

Because the diesel engines returning fuel economy of more than 60mpg capable of Qubo can travel nearly 0 miles on a single fill- up the 45-liter tank. The insurance is also cheap, while invoices maintenance should be low, to offer with Fiat an "Easy Care" package that allows to buy the car first three services - including all parts and labor - for £ 399. Fiat dealer but not the best reputation for quality of service - the company finished last in our sister title AutoExpress youngest driver current satisfaction survey.

motors, drive & Performance
-
the Qubo is not the most dynamic car in motion
, the range of available in the Qubo diesel Multijet not have as much power and performance is sluggish as a result - it takes a lot effort to get the car speed. On the movement of the angular shape and soft suspension of the Fiat body roll mean can be a problem, but very easy to feel the steering and could be much more specific.

Interior & Comfort
-
Soft suspension helps the car comfortably
remainwith its soft suspension set-up, Fiat smallest people carrier takes rough roads bring much on the scale. The driving position feels slightly erect, but on the whole the car is comfortable behind the wheel. Impressive levels of leg and headroom for a car of this size mean the Qubo a surprisingly good choice for long trips with the family. However, it is completely outclassed by (mainly German) competitors in this field.
-
practicality & trunk
-
Demonstrates how practical can be a van-based MPV
the Qubo has a generous 330 liters of cargo space with the rear seats in place, and if they are flat increases this fold to a mammoth 2500 liters. Sliding rear doors means access to the luggage bay just also, while the angular shape of the Fiat ensures there are loads of head and legroom for occupants front.
-
reliability and safety
-
The Qubo feels very solid, but Fiat has a bad reputation
Although it should be fairly easy potential buyer sees no doubt that the Qubo is firmly assembled - the car has been well built. The plastics Fiat has used inside feel robust, while the highly efficient Multijet diesel engines rather permanently have a good reputation for the detection. However cars from Fiat have for its reliability over the years not known - although they improve.
-
price, price-performance ratio and options
-
Huge amounts of space for not a lot of money
get a lot of space with the Qubo for your money. It is not the fastest means small people carrier on the market, but it's more than the promise of incredibly low running costs of his seriously efficient engines, at the tip of the highly impressive levels of practicality for this limited power.
