"The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is a super sports car with an incredible performance tuned by head-turning looks and sure-footed all-wheel drive."
The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is the open-topped version of the Aventador coupé, with the same carbon fiber chassis and V12 engine. With nearly 700bhp and a top speed of over 0 mph, it is one of the fastest and most dramatic open vehicles money can buy.
The seven-speed automatic transmission is controlled by shift paddles and three driving modes comes with: Strada, Sport and Corsa. The Roadster also features a pair of carbon roof panels that need to be manually removed and placed in the trunk in the nose of the car.
While the Roadster chassis is not quite as stiff as the coupe, it handles just as well and on-road performance is still breathtaking. The head-turning design makes it one of the most dramatic cars in the world and it is easy to see why wealthy buyers are not bothered by his near- £ 300,000 price.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs
-
deep pockets are important, but has improved fuel consumption
insurance, maintenance and tax bills will all be sky-high. Spare parts and tires are very expensive, as well as your heating costs. But the Aventador Roadster, like the Coupé, has both the cylinder shutdown and start-stop technology, the economy improved slightly when the car is used for rather slow driving in the city. Also a high demand should keep pace depreciation at bay in the early years of the car on sale.

motors, drive & Performance
-
Very high power and a lot of grip
, the massive dimensions are some buyers and the Aventador is not as flexible and customization than smaller supercars defer as the McLaren 650S Spider or Ferrari 458 Spider , But with all-wheel drive and excellent body control, there are a lot of grip and the Lamborghini corners without drama.
It is thus in a position that it is difficult to let loose really on the road to generate explosive acceleration open to the near 700bhp V12 engine. It is very stable at high speed, but the ride is firm and the automatic transmission a bit jerky at lower speeds may be. Most importantly, the Roadster feels just as stiff, sharp and fast as the coupe.

Interior & Comfort
-
Wind -in-the-hair thrills, but also comfortable away on long trips
the pair of carbon roof panels, buffeting from the cabin up to (and maintained beyond) limit the UK-speed. Discussions are possible and you can still listen to the radio, but it is the sound of the V12 engine, the most people who want to listen to buy this car.
Against this background, one can open the glass or close the rear window to increase the amount of engine noise or decrease. The ride is firm in the city, and the transmission is a little jerky in automatic mode, but the seats are comfortable and the interior is easy to live.
-
practicality & trunk
-
Not a high priority
If you are a massively expensive supercar to buy, chances are you have another car to go shopping will have. What a good thing, as is Aventador small 100-liter nose trunk is used to store the roof panels. These are easy to take on and off, but it takes a few minutes, so that a sudden shower could catch you out. Poor rearward visibility makes parking difficult, but the rear-view camera helps, while a hydraulic lifter sure makes nose on speed limits and in multi-storey car parks, without scratching the low nose to get.
-
reliability and safety
-
shares has parts with established Aventador Coupe
Lamborghini a reputation for reliability and annoying questionable build quality in the past had, but 10 years of Audi ownership has changed everything. The Aventador Roadster shares its upscale interior and mechanicals with the proven coupe, so it feels solidly designed and very strong.
-
price, price-performance ratio and options
-
Very expensive, but cheaper than rival open-top supercars
the Aventador Roadster has an eye-watering price tag, but compared to cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Huayra it is actually a good price! For your money you get a composite chassis, a V12 engine and graduation performance. Compare with the exclusivity and attention pulls this car, and the average value of the Aventador buyer is unlikely to feel neglected.
