"The Lotus Evora is a really comfortable everyday sports car is that it can cut down the street with the best performance models."
The Evora in standard form with a 3.5-liter V6 or expensive S trim with a supercharged version of the same engine is available. Whichever you choose, you get a usable sports car, the incredible pace and precise handling for enthusiastic driver provides. The car is also available with a six-speed automatic transmission, while a 2012 facelift enhances the interior, adding the kind of high-quality trim in a wait to see £ 50,000 car. Families should probably look elsewhere, though, as the rear seats are incredibly narrow and the mid-engine layout means that the boat is very small.

MPG, Rates & CO2 runs
-
the operating costs are about what you need for a high-performance car [wouldexpect
the Evora is a high-performance car, so that the running costs are likely to be steep. Maintenance, insurance and fuel bills will all be high, but not out of the ordinary for this type of car. The fuel consumption of 32.5mpg for the standard model is actually pretty good. The faster Evora S managed only 27.7mpg and more taxes due to the higher CO2 emissions costs.

motors, drive & Performance

Two powerful engines and also weighted, responsive controls
the Evora uses an engine with 3.5-liter V6 from Toyota sourced 276bhp produced. The engine speed and smoothly accelerates the car fast enough to keep the most enthusiastic driver entertained, but it never feels uncontrollably fast. A characterful exhaust note was 2012 model added, feel the car a lot sportier than before.
One of the few criticisms of the standard Evora is a relative lack of performance compared to competitors. The Evora S addresses increases this problem through a compressor addition, the power of 70bhp to a total of 345bhp - more than its main competitor, Porsche Cayman S. The standard sports exhaust has a throatier engine noise that lasts a notch excitement, while the S has also better steering and brakes beefier than the standard car.

Interior & Comfort
-
self the narrow S-model is despite the classic sports car proportions comfortable for a sports car
, the Evora not drive as hard as one would expect. The suspension is soft enough to absorb most of the shortcomings in the road, it is to make an excellent long-distance cruiser. Road and wind noise are well insulated for a car of this type, even though optional 20-inch wheels do make a bit of a racket.
The low leather sport seats are difficult to climb in and out, but once in place to support them well in corners and remain comfortable on long trips. In Evora S, the suspension is about 10% stiffer than the standard car, but fortunately, that the ride quality has not ruined. It absorbs more bumps in the road brilliant and makes rivals compared seem harsh.
increase louder exhaust note from the sports exhaust and the howling of the compressor, the voltage, but they can be annoying if you're not in the mood.
-
practicality & trunk
-
boots is small and optional are rear seats incredibly tight
squeezeboot space is at a premium in Evora, so you need some good soft bags in the back if you want to wear something. As mentioned above, you can find a number of rear seats, but we would recommend to save the money and for the two-seat version just go because they are too small for all other than small children.
-
reliability and safety
-
Toyota motor should prove reliable, but the build quality could be better
the Evora engine of Toyota It's always so reliability should not be much of a problem. The problems start in the cabin. Despite the good quality of the materials used, everything seems together flimsily. The Evora S is a little better, with all buttons and switchgear firmer feel.
Unfortunately, the Evora has been NCAP officially tested by Euro not crash, so it has no independent safety rating, but it got airbags, traction control, ABS and other safety technology as standard.
-
price, price-performance ratio and options
-
not cheap to buy, but there is a decent amount of kit
of Evora is certainly not cheap, and the top model Evora S is more expensive than a Porsche Cayman R. Nevertheless, it is to pay a small price for the fantastic performance on offer. The base model includes air conditioning, leather sport seats and electric windows, but there is also a long list of extras including a reversing camera and GPS. On the other hand resale value are to be bad when compared to German competitors.
