"As a working vehicle is the Ford Ranger excellent -. To take position heavy loads But rivals such as the new Nissan Navara and Volkswagen Amarok are better rounders. "

pickup trucks have have long been associated with the US in the UK, but in recent years have they begun to be more popular, seen as farmers and traders respectively in addition to the more traditional choice of 4x4 vehicles and vans attractiveness. The Ford Ranger has helped in driving pickup sales, along with rivals including the Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok, Mitsubishi L0 and Toyota Hilux.
The latest Ranger hit showrooms in 09, but it was placed in a thorough update in 2016, in response to new Navara and L0 models.
pickups have become more comfortable, which in part explains why they are finding a broader customer base, but it is still clear that the Ranger is a driving force in the first place. While the steering is relatively accurate, is the fact that the rear suspension is set up to carry heavy loads that empty when the Ranger rebounds prone on the back. Both the Volkswagen Amarok and Nissan Navara are more convenient compared.

Ranger buyers have a choice of two diesel engines. One is a 148bhp 2.2-liter, while the other is a 197bhp 3.2-liter engine is. Contrary to what one might expect, the smaller engine is actually the smoother of the two, to send less vibration and noise inside the cabin. It is cheaper to run than the 3.2-liter as well as, if not more economically than competitors in the real world.
While the larger 3.2-liter engine the Ranger makes as fast as many SUVs thanks to a 0-62mph time of 10.6 seconds and there is power to bear and towing loads impressive rim hole, it is rather rough and rattily, especially if you work it hard, or when it is cold.
There are three known Ford Ranger bodystyles on offer Regular Cab Super Cab and Double Cab. The entry-level Regular Cab has the greatest load bay and is for the work rather than leisure, so that capacity comes at the expense of the rear seats.

The super Cab adds rear doors and some 'occasional' rear seats, but there is not much space and we would not recommend it if you want to transport people in the back regularly ours.
, the best choice for those with families is the Double Cab, the five right places. However, this means that it has the smallest load area from the three.
As with the bodystyle decisions, provide the equipment variants something for people who want more for the work of their Ranger, or more for leisure. The XL and XLT models are for people who truck for work, so that they come with fairly basic equipment. The XL is the only two-wheel drive offered model and as a Regular Cab.
The third and fourth trim levels, called Limited 2 and Wildtrak, comforting many other creature feature as leather trim, air conditioning and rear parking sensors. The flagship model Wildtrak features amenities such as satellite navigation, ambient lighting and a rearview camera.
The Limited 2 is as super or Double Cab, while Wildtrak comes only as a Double Cab with the larger of the two motors.
Ranger is actually the only pickup the full five-star crash safety rating by Euro NCAP (the Navara and Amarok only managed four) to get. The Ranger comes with seven airbags, traction control, stability control and antilock brakes as standard, as well as an emergency braking system.
